Leidos’ Defense Systems Mechanical Design & Analysis Department is seeking a Integrated Battle Command System Design Engineer to join our team in Huntsville Alabama designing the next generation of hardware to equip our warfighters. You will design unique hardware that integrates the US Army’s Integrated Battle Command System onto mobile platforms. You will use Solidworks CAD software and Windchill PLM software daily to design components and their packaging. You will work on a team of talented engineers to solution complex problems on a challenging timeline. This is a fast-paced program with unique technical challenges that will be a rewarding milestone in any engineering career. Primary Responsibilities
- Structural design via Solidworks CAD software, drawing generation in accordance with ASME Y14.100 & Y14.5, and producing technical data packages in accordance with MIL-STD-31000
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university
- 4+ years of applicable experience in design and/or analysis of mechanical systems or 2+ years with MS degree.
- Mission-focused. Ready to contribute to a high-performing team.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates experienced with Integrated Battle Command System will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience leading engineering design teams will be preferred.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
