Leidos Defense Systems Manufacturing is seeking a Saw/Deburr Technician to join our Platform Integration Facility team in Huntsville, AL.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform deburring, polishing, and finishing of machine parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Inspect parts for defects, burrs, and sharp edges to ensure quality standards are met.
• Operate basic equipment such as grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials and products as needed.
• Assist with general labor tasks including material handling, cleaning, and organizing work areas.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
• Support production team with assembly, packaging, and other shop tasks as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Read and follow basic work instructions, blueprints, or diagrams (if applicable).

Basic Qualifications

• Must possess a High School diploma/GED with 1 – 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 35+ pounds unassisted for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift (certification preferred).
• Ability to use hand tools and basic machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
• Must be able to work a full-time, 4-days per week 10-hours per shift.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, deburring, or general labor.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $40,300.00 - $72,850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
